As a part of the celebrations in connection with the golden jubilee of Kamal Haasan’s acting career, Kamal Express, a special bus, which displays the eventful life of the ‘Ulaga Nayagan’, was flagged off at AVM Studios on August 24.
A. V. M. Saravannan, Ramanarayanan, Kamal’s younger daughter Akshara Haasan and Gowthami’s daughter Subbulakshmi were among those present at the function. The bus is part of the programmes, ‘Ulaganayagan Kamal 50 – Oru Thodarum Sarithiram’, organised by Vijay TV to mark the occasion.
Rare photographs of Kamal Haasan, including one from his debut film ‘Kalathoor Kannamma’ (1960), are exhibited inside the bus. Two such buses will tour the entire Tamil Nadu. Cinegoers can get in and see this pictures and documentaries when these buses halt at pre determined places.
