Sathyanarayana, the President of All India Rajinikanth Fans Association, popularly known as ‘Thalapathy’ to all Rajini fans, has been ‘rested’ from the post since he is suffering with kidney failure. According to the fan club higher authorities, no one has been appointed in his place.

Reports quoting that Sudhakar, a long time friend and classmate of Rajini would manage the clubs till Sathy recovers from his illness.

Sathy has been managed nearly one lakh fan clubs of the actor for the past two and half decades. He is one of the confident friends of the actor.

Sathyanarayana says in an interview that he is indeed unwell, and unable to attend 200 meetings in 20 days, as he used to in the past. “Rajini sir did not want me to strain myself and asked me to take complete rest for time being…” says Sathy.
