The hardcore fans of ‘Thala’ Ajith are in joyful mood after hearing the title for their matinee idols next film, Surangani.

Gowtham Menon, one of the most sought after director in Tamil is going to direct Ajith for this Sivaji Productions magnum opus.

After a careful search for a suitable title to this film, the director suggests Surangani and immediately both the actor Ajith and producer Ramkumar have accepted the same.

But unfortunately the title was already registered by a producer in the Council. Now Sivaji Productions is negotiating with the producer to get for their project.

The shoot of this film will start on November 1 in Chennai.

Surangani is going to be Ajith’s next film after Aegan. According to sources Ajith has impressed a lot with Gowtham Menon’s script with a difference from others.

The film is about a man who rises from humble beginnings, to become the biggest don in the world, while Sameera Reddy will play the role of the gangster’s moll.

The film will have music by Harris Jayaraj, and camera is by Ajith’s favourite Nirav Shah the man who gave him a different stylish look in Billa.
